Monthly M&A Review – Maart 2025

Optimism around US leadership has given way to heightened uncertainty, while Europe has delivered unexpected resilience. With policy paths still unclear and growth prospects uneven, investors should prepare for continued volatility in the quarters ahead.

March has been a busy month for VDP with successfully closing 3 transactions and launching our updated website and refreshed logo.

We’re proud to have advised Nestor, the Benelux market leader in staffing for 60+ and retirees, on its new strategic partnership with Down 2 Earth Capital. With continued support from Integra Partners, this collaboration will accelerate Nestor’s expansion across Europe.

We also advised on the newly formed strategic partnership between the management of Aptco Group and Tilleghem. Aptco Group, an international specialist in scientific and laboratory equipment based in Belgium, will leverage this partnership to pursue its growth ambitions through a focused buy-and-build strategy.

In addition, we are pleased to announce the partnership between The Ensur Company and Down 2 Earth Capital. Ensur, a Brussels-based consultancy and transformation partner for the insurance and pension industry.

Finally, in the academic sphere, Laurent Linkens and Gilles delivered a guest lecture at Ghent University as part of the advanced corporate finance course, covering strategic buyouts and financial decision-making strategy.
