Netherlands-based ATS (All Tape Supplies) joins forces with Tapeservice to jointly respond to key developments in the tape market, such as the increasing demand for European production facilities, the growing need for innovative customised solutions, and rising demands for sustainability and security of supply.
With a particular focus on Washi masking tapes, a segment in which ATS is specialised since 2006, Tapeservice’s product offering will be further strengthened. Moreover, this strategic partnership ensures deeper anchoring in each other’s markets.
VDP acted as advisor to Tapeservice.
Tapeservice (formerly Tape Service Coenraets) is a specialist in high-quality professional tapes for the healthcare, aviation, industrial, events and automotive sectors, among others. The group was formed from several acquisitions in the past, since Gunther Willems (current CEO) and Jean-Patrick Holvoet took over the company. The acquisition of ATS is in line with the duo’s ambition to make the group a pan-European tape specialist.

Founded in 2006 by Servaas Dankers and Felipe Muñoz Mateu, ATS quickly established itself as one of the European reference players in the Washi masking tapes segment. The company owes its success to strong relationships with both Japanese suppliers (where Washi tape originated) and industrial customers spread across Europe. ATS’ shareholders saw Tapeservice as the ideal partner for the company’s future growth.
