We are pleased to share with you our January edition of the VDP Monthly M&A Review.
The start of the year was marked by heightened geopolitical uncertainty and market volatility, yet investor sentiment improved as economic data proved more resilient than expected. In this edition, we briefly reflect on the macroeconomic environment in January and the key trends shaping financial markets and deal activity.
January was also an active month for VDP with two deals. We were delighted to welcome a new colleague to our team and to have advised on two transactions across the Belgian market, further reinforcing our presence in the technology and services sector.
Finally, we are introducing a slightly refreshed newsletter format. In addition to our regular overview of Belgian M&A activity, we now take a closer look at two selected “Deals of the Month”, offering additional context on transaction rationale and strategic fit.
