VD&P operates under a partnership model, which guarantees a personal, discrete and committed approach. The partners and employees of VD&P form a multidisciplinary team and have many years of experience in different aspects of corporate finance.
Danny has a Master’s degree in economics (UG) and obtained the Master in financial management at the Vlerick School for Management, Ghent. In February 2000, he joined VD&P and in 2002 he became a partner. Before that, he was professionally active at, among others, the GIMV and the corporate finance department of Deloitte. He is a director of various companies.
From 1990 to 2002, Inge was affiliated to the Faculty of Law of Ghent University, first as an assistant and, after having obtained her doctor’s degree in 2000, as a doctor-assistant, with teaching assignments in company and consumer law. From 1999, she combined her part-time academic assignments with a legal advisory role within VD&P. In 2002, she became a full-time partner at VD&P.
Stijn De Vreeze
Stijn obtained a Master in Business Administration, with specialisation accounting and finance, at Ehsal (Brussels). In 1999, he started his career as a financial analyst at De Belegger, subsidiary of the Financieel Economische Tijd. In 2005, he joined the Corporate Finance department of Ernst & Young. Since 2008, he has been working at VD&P.
Laurent studied business engineering (UG) and also has a master’s degree in operations and technology management. After an internship at the previous listed fund Mitiska, Laurent started his career at Deloitte Consulting in 2007. He continued his career at VD&P Corporate Finance and KBC Securities, an investment bank located in Belgium, where he was particularly involved in M&A and ECM transactions, both on the buyer’s and seller’s side. From 2014 to 2016, he was an Investment Manager at BlackFin Capital Partners, a French Private Equity player with a European focus on financial services. Since then, he is a partner at VD&P.
Lieven has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Antwerp) and a Bachelor’s degree in Textile technology (Ghent). He also followed the Advanced Management Programme at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. After a career as a freelance journalist during his studies, Lieven became a co-founder of PR Force NV in 1993. After the sale of PR Force to a listed communication group in London in 2002, he became managing director and then country CEO of respectively Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Trimedia and Grayling. As a consultant, Lieven was involved in more than 20 public capital transactions (Delistings, IPOs, SPOs and M&A).

Senior M&A Advisor
Olivier graduated as a master in business engineering (Ghent University) with a specialisation in finance. He started his career at asset manager Candriam Investors Group and worked then for a private equity advisor in Kortrijk where he was involved in several transactions. Since 2017, he has been analyst/advisor at VD&P.
Renier obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s degree in Finance at Regent’s University London. He did internships at different companies among which VD&P Corporate Finance and Spectrum Corporate Finance, the English AICA partner of VD&P. As he studied in London, he speaks various languages and he built up an international network. Since 2018, he has been working at VD&P.
Following his Masters in Science Commercial Engineering at UGent, Eron followed an additional specialization in finance at EHSAL (Brussels). After an initial work experience for 2 years as a consultant Business Control & Technology at Deloitte, Eron has been working at VD&P since the beginning of 2019.
Gilles graduated with a master’s degree in Commercial Sciences from Ghent University and subsequently followed the Masters in Financial Management program at the Vlerick Business School. In between, he had already completed a 6-month internship at VD&P. In 2020, after more than 2 years of work experience as a M&A Associate at Baker Tilly Belgium, Gilles rejoined the VD&P team as M&A Advisor. Gilles is bilingual (Dutch-French) and fluent in English.
Leo Van Steenberge
Leo has a master’s degree in law (KUL) and a master’s degree in business management (Vlerick School for Management, Ghent), started his career in the 1980s as a company auditor at Deloitte, where he became a senior partner later on. Besides his activity as a company auditor, he was also responsible for the management solutions department. Since 2011, Leo has been working as a corporate finance expert, advisor, director and chairman of family councils, both in a national and international context. Leo also has the title of honorary company auditor.
Eric has a Master’s degree in economics (UG). He has been academically active for years at the corporate finance department (UG) and the Vlerick School for Management, Ghent. Through the Nationale Investeringsmaatschappij and Leasinvest, he ended up at the end of the 1980s at Investco, the investment company of the then Almanij-Kredietbankgroep. In 1993 he started an independent advisory practice, and then in 1995 he established VD&P together with Guy De Clercq. He is a director of various domestic and foreign companies.
After her studies, Leen went to work at her father’s SME, where she was responsible for all administrative, personnel and accounting matters for 24 years. She combined this busy job with secretarial work for the personnel, pupils and general administration at the IVG School (Ghent). Since the closure of the family business in September 2020, she is active at VD&P. She is responsible for follow-up of the administration and accounting.
